Backdrops for statues!!!

I was just wondering if anyone was interested in having 3d generated backdrops for their sideshow statues. I was going to do up a whole bunch for myself. Basically a high quality picture on foamboard to display in behind their polystone counterparts. These would be generic enough to avoid copyright issues but a good representation of middle earth.
This is a very quick and dirty sample the finished images would be better.
Any ideas, suggestions?
Locations etc?
Id be only charging what it costs to produce.

hm... say helms deep for the galadhrim archer and berserker and mount doom for sauron? maybe even a coronation one for elessar and arwen though the arwen is not wearing the coronation dress.

Very Interesting! I have a TON of ideas for just such a thing, but its gonna be awhile before I can display my Statues as I would like to.

Intersting backdrop will include (IMO) : Council of Elrond and Balin's Tomb... unfortuately I don't think there is any statue that will fit that environment now..

A pic of flaming Denethor would look great as a backdrop for the Pippin statue...

This can look VERY nice if done properly, but you need to look backdrops that don't look "busy" for it to look right. Check out CKing's collection pics for how it should be done.

Yes there are so many possibilities and KISS applies here for sure....but last year i made a few mockups of the coronation and sarumans study in orthanc and it just brought the statues to life.
If i get enough interest i will post more samples as i make em and we can collaboarate on idead and refining them.
So keep the comments coming and if anyone is interested at all please post.

It will be nice to see putting 7 to 8 Galadhrim Archers side by side behind the Helms Deep to enact the scene before they engage the Uruk-Hais in Two Towers... but I doubt anyone will buy so many Galadhrim Archers! Considering each one cost about 350USD now... perhaps JS might have it...

I understand that you would only be charging cost, but can you give us some ideas what they're been running to? I'm curious how your Orthanc Chamber came out.

well the orthanc chamber was awesome....man did it bring saruman to life...however i had a fatal computer crash at the time.....and lost the particular file...but i have been backing up ever since.....as far as cost goes....it really depends on the quantity made....i would like to keep the cost of the backdrops to less than 50...as much as possible....especially for multiple orders. determining how many/sizes etc its difficult but i am willing to work together on it. Like i said i am a fan first and foremost and when i saw what it did for saruman...wow...i was hooked. So as i have samples to put up.....i will see just how many of each im looking at and cost it from there.
