Well here I go. I have wanted to try this for quite some time. I have enjoyed DarkArtists stuff as well as Les's and CustomMikey's to name a few. Plus I figured if P!TU was starting I would have to get on the ball. So Josh helped me pick out some paints and brushes. My first attempt will be a custom gammy. Here is my progress. Over all I am pretty happy with it. Painting is really relaxing. How am I doing? Any suggestions?

Thanks Irish. I am working on blending some of the pink into the green. So we will see what happens. I am done for the night. I will post some more pictures tomorrow.

Great job man. These have an amazing sculpt but I think a blind monkey painted them

The repainted versions I have from Mikey are fantastic (and 1 is for sale too )

Ok the head is just about finished. I have smoothed out the lip lines. I have also added some whites and yellows to the horns as well as some brown. I have also painted the teeth and glossed the mouth.

excellent work badmoon.......i too have been inspired to repaint a gammy to add to jabbas scene. just need the right paints and off i go. but you took on and tackled a pretty involved repaint & by all accounts did a outstanding job. would have never guessed that was your first.

WOW Les and Darkartist I know that you have heard this before. I don't care. Thanks! You guys are two of the best in my opinion. I am glad you liked my first shot. I will need help on the next. LOL! I am going to attempt a Hasbro Emperor figure. I think that will be pretty tough. Thanks for the inspiration you two. You made me want to start this.
