Just announced at Tamashii Nations HK.
The chrome plating on both figures looks really nice...but being a Bandai release, be prepared for ridiculous pricing.

No interest in these figures ether but I wonder what bandai's price point will be as they look like well made figures.

Whoa it looks like Wild Tiger lights up. Very cool. And I love that their faceplates lift up unlike the Figuarts. Definitely want to get him and Barnaby and maybe their out of costume figures as well if the price isn't too steep.

Intriguing, but price is going to be a big factor here. If these are priced like Medicom, then I'm out. :p

I like the quality and tailoring, but I agree, the properties aren't big interests of mine. Now, if they did MMPR, which I'm dieing for, then I think they would be on to something. I think Power Rangers/Sentai in general are perfect for 12" scale. The costumes generally look similar to a lot of materials used on 12" figures imo.

Wait, Bandai is doing 12" high end figures now? :horror

Does this mean we *might* see some of the original Power Rangers and possibly even some Dragonball Z figures... especially ones that never saw the light of day, such as Vegeta?

Considering this is a new thing for Bandai, and Japan in general tends to avoid "old" stuff in favor of the newest/trendiest, I would say don't hold your breath for original Power Rangers.

Yeah, Medicom's prices are absolutely absurd anymore. Hot Toys is already sailing the Titanic into the Atlantic with their prices, but Medicom has got to be hitting the iceberg by now. Hate to see it too, as I started the hobby with Medicom. :(

Is Bandai going to give Medicom a run for their money in the Anime/Manga Japanese market? I surely hope so.

So far Bandai 12" seems to be around the same price as Medicom and like them their will be exclusive, so I wouldn't count on Bandai to change what Medicom already started.

For exemple Wild Tiger for 25k yens and Kotetsu for 18K yens (this one could be exclusive, not a lot of info yet).
