Well since there isn't a thread , and my posts got deleted in the Bane thread

Here goes :

This thread will give tips , tricks , and info that you will need to ge the best out of you Hot Toys Bane figure. And to create different versions of him

First off i have my Boss Version of Bane

He is made up of :

Hot Toys Truetype TTM20 Muscular Body
HT Bane HeadSculpt
HT Bane Vest
Custom Dyed & Weathered Tactical Soldier Pants
Magic Cube Toys - TrialMaster Jacket - from the Bootleg I Am Legend Set
Custom Weathered & Painted Boots -from Soldier Story US M1943 Combat Service Boots

Here's Shortrounds tutorial

I could only find one advance arm but it'll still work to show how it's done.

Open the torso from the side. Easily peels off but still handle with care. You don't wanna rip the body.

Pull the torso muscle off. Comes off like a shell.

Unscrew the back of the body. You'll need a phillips screwdriver. There's three screws that need to be removed.

Should look like this with the back piece removed. Remove the arms.

Here's where the real modding begins. As you can see, the advanced arms have a bigger round peg. That peg needs to be either sanded or cut to the size of the muscle arms to fit back into the muscle body's inner socket.

Once you get them in place, just close it back up. They're a little tricky and might fall out. It's simple to get it shut again though.

Put the torso muscle back on and glue it shut. Don't add too much glue. Just in case you wanna undo the whole mod.

Here's the finished body with the arms.

kl242, try putting something under the plastic mold chest piece or under his shirt where his traps are to give him more accurate traps like Hardy had in the film.

Great job ecko! I think it helps having this stuff in the regular thread as it gives people chance to see ways to upgrade the figure, not sure why you got deleted. I know some people are happy but I feel like if you can make something better/your own, why not?
