I feel like Doomsday being in this one is fine since it will take the DC Trinity (and maybe more) to drop him in it. It's not like Superman will solo the battle with a kool aid smile on.

I'm surprised to see so many negative comments about Batman holding a gun in the movie, even though he has 50 million machine guns on his Batmobile/Batwing. I did notice he's holding that weapon right before Superman tackles him through the floor. It also makes me wonder how people felt when they first saw this.

I guess it's safe to assume they're unaware of stuff like this

In at least a couple of examples there (Year 2 and Infinite Crisis), the point in the comic was to point out the extreme and unusual situation Batman was in. One of the major aspects of Batman's backstory is his extreme aversion to guns stemming from his childhood trauma. When Miller had him using the rifle as a grappling hook, it was meant to be jarring. Of course, in Rises, he wasn't using an actual gun. Snyder seems to be going to extremes here, showing Bats a couple of times running around with guns like it's no big deal. So it doesn't seem like he has much concern for that aspect of contemporary Batman's backstory. But we'll see.

O that's just that stupid emp gun from rises that turned lights off. Didn't hurt no one.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice costume designer Michael Wilkinson attended CCXP – Comic Con Experience 2015 in Brazil this weekend, and he said a bunch of stuff about the movie that he shouldn’t have in an interview with Brazilian website Omelete. Be warned, there are some spoilers here, so read on if you choose.
•All the scenes involving “desert Batman”, like the sneak peek we got last week, are all just a dream that Bruce Wayne is having.
•The Flash (played by Ezra Miller) is in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and it’s Barry Allen.

Zack wanted to include a Joseph Campbell quote in the suit, so there’s a quote from Joseph Campbell: "Where we thought to stand alone, we will be with all the world" and we decided to translate that into Kryptonian and we put it through the "S" on his chest, through his cuffs, his belt, through his bicep, just to give a little extra something for the fan with very sharp vision to appreciate.
Hopeman's costume just got worse... :lol

Facing the creature that's known for "killing" superman can't be considered any less than unusual and extreme though...right?

How this movie is still titled Batman V Superman is beyond me... I've seen theories on how the universe was formed that make more sense than the title at this point...

From rumors I read (regarding other JL members)

Aquaman is rescued by Wonder Woman while she's investigating Lex Luthor. I'm sure he will play some part in the finale too... or maybe not. :lol

I'm guessing Flash will show up for the last scene or post credits scene.

Isn't Cyborg supposed to be in this too? :lol

Batman V Superman with Wonder Woman in the middle: Aquaman will help too, while the Flash maaaay cameo: Dawn of the Justice League: V 1.2

aquaman shows up, and lobby's for climate change. then ends up in luthor's basement of joy.

he'll probably pull out a jurassic world ending with cthulhu.

It's really cool but there's absolutelly NO need for this subplot in BvS film. WB just want this one to be a starting point for their new franchise so it feels like AoU which was "Phase 3 origins" instead of "The Avengers".
