Nothing against the performances or even its intended purpose....it was just random felt unnecessary.
Here I am walking in the mountains then boom Pa Kent (who is deceased) is piling rocks...actually funny when I think of it that way.

Much as I hated him as Luthor, he was an enjoyable villain, I'll admit. As far as the MCU goes, most of their villains don't have any character BUT, the MCU contains the Kingpin, Alexander Pierce, Loki and Kilgrave, all of whom I'm putting above Lex. But he surely surpasses the rest.
Oh yeah, Netflix Villains are better. I was talking in terms of movies, I should have clarified. I think I will put Loki above Lex. Maybe even Pierce as you mentioned. Was nice to see a villain though like Lex on screen.
So Faraci's claim of 800 million just to break even is inaccurate?
Jr. was energetic, sure, but as a Luthor, I didn't like him. At all. Maybe he'll redeem himself in his next outing. Or, he's gonna get killed in prison and we'll get Heisenberg as Luthor Sr. Boom, everybody wins!
Lex > Pierce
Not even close.
I wouldn't be opposed to that
I think we will see Lex evolve into the Lex everyone knows while in jail.
Maybe. I sure wish he does. I want this Lex:
They will just keep on making Batman movies. Guaranteed money in their pockets.
Yes. Absolutely inaccurate.
Which shouldn't surprise anyone.
He knows **** all what he's talking about there, and as usual, is trying to push a (false) narrative.
I guess i'm done with Faraci.

So I guess Superman's secret identity is gone forever in this continuity?
Not in a zillion years if it's still Eisenberg
It's not just about getting any profit at all but maximizing profit. Potential revenue vs actual revenue. Sure bvs may end up turning a profit, but it would have generated a much, much larger profit both in box office and related merch sales if it had been a good movie and been universally liked and well regarded. Not to mention a solid foundation for their planned future dccu films. 2 (3 if you count green lantern) films deep into their shared cinematic universe and they are all lackluster critical flops? Not good if you want to be maximizing profit from your property and building not eroding your fan base.
