Sorry for the sad story, I worked/hung out with a kid that LOVED LOVED LOVED the Eagles and he killed himself and now I am cursed to remember his tragedy every time I hear the Eagles on the radio.

No way! He had at least 5 or 6 monster hits, probably on par with the Eagles.

I find the Eagles annoying, almost like they were trying to fit a style of music. Whereas I feel the Steve Miller Band were more genuine and honestly more fun to listen to.
Nothing is funner than playing the bass line to Hotel California on Guitar Hero (except maybe playing Beat It). 
Gotta go w/ the Eagles.. Steve Miller is more of a 3 hit wonder..

wow.....another on that i can't really vote on. Growing up in So Cal in the 70's there were 3 bands that were everywhere.......Eagles, Steve Miller, and Fleetwood Mac. Other than Fleetwood Mac I hope to hear the other two never again. Believe me it was a sickness in So Cal at the time - i think it was called folk-countryitis or something.
