Yeah the head does appear a bit small there, and I don't think it's just because of lens distortion or too much shoulder padding. But I guess we'll see what it looks like after their improvements...

Here is a copy of the answer bcs gave me about the release date : " The 8th doctor is due to be with us later this year, we have not pushed him back any further at the moment as we are still being told by our factory that he will be with us before the end of this year."

That's good to hear! Let's hope it pans out and it is this year as we've been waiting an absolute age for this one!

I've only started collecting them a few weeks ago so i have no problem waiting for this one a few month, but i don't know how i'am going to be patient for the 3rd doctor if he was to be delayed as much as the 8th, it would drive me insane haha

Oh, he will be. This is Big Chief. None of their figures have a quick release.

They seems to have all their factories change done and they renewed their licence and they finally are going to do all the classic doctor. So maybe its a new era for them who knows. I guess we will see next year in june.

We are currently awaiting a final sample with all of the revisions made to the costume and deco that we requested following our review and customer comments.
In addition we have developed the correct shoes for the Doctor, which were correctly identified from screencaps taken from the recent Blu Ray release. These are now being tooled for manufacture.
Whilst the new shoes have been in development our vendors have continued to manufacture component parts, to keep on schedule to ship the figures around mid-October.
This will mean that the stock should arrive with us at the start of December. We are working hard to keep on track and will continue to keep you guys posted."



So nothing before december, still in the time frame the gave, but it would have been nice to have him earlier than that.

December is better than March. Hopefully the revisions are on point and it comes out perfect. I’m more anxious about quality than time at this point.

Yes of course i totally agree with you guys ^^ I also prefer to wait longer if it means a better looking figure. Its just that i can see that this figure has been push back for so long that now that the release date is so close, they push it back again ^^
