WOW, that is an incredible figure!

I love the b&w shot of it even more. This is a figure that should not be done in color, only b&w, as the color just does not enhance it in any way.

Thats one great Chaplin Custom. I especially like the stand, shoes, and the bendiness of the cane. Very nice work!

Maybe this will inspire Sideshow to think about a comics line.
Chaplin
Keaton
Lloyd
Laurel & Hardy
Abbott & Costello
Marx Brothers

Maybe it's just me, but it looks like Dr. Evil with a mustache, eyebrows and hair.

I had a good laugh when I saw the first picture load up; the face has a wonderful expression! It is a beautifully done figure, and the COA is classy.
Ironman is right, there is a great number of comics to devote a figure line to. I would go for the Marx brothers myself.

I agree with what's been already said, that is one nice figure. The level of detail on these custom figures always amazes me.

Oh yeah baby! I have 16mm films of most of these artists.
1 Chaplin
4 Buster Keaton
6 Harold Lloyd
Numerous Laurel and Hardy
a few A & C
Unfortunately no Marx brothers

During the summer nights I pull out my projector and show these on buildings across the way. I also have all of Universal's Classic monster shorts by Castle on one reel.
Frankenstein
Dracula
The Wolfman
The Mummy
Dr. Jekyll & Mr Hyde
The Creature from the Black Lagoon

I also have Frankenstein meets Dracula

and Abbott and Costello meet the Movie Monsters, and A&C meet the Mummy

Woohoo these are some classics!

OMG it does look a bit like Doc. great fig tho. anyone ever hear of that customizer Rainman? his site linked in that ebay add doesn't show much

I've never heard of a Rainman before.
But, that figure and even the "certificate" on glass no less, is amazing. Nice work!
I actually don't prefer the expression myself, but it does resemble Chaplin.

That is beautiful. It looks like a true labor of love. It can't be easy letting go of such a piece.

i swear, the more i look at this fig, the more the sculpt does look like Dr. Evil. did any company make a 12" Doc Evil that this guy may've used for the head?

Wow, thats an increidble custom.
I'm not much of a chaplan fan but some pictures looked too realistic haha .
kudos to rainman and the thread poster :D
