exactly. He bought it on himself, sure he got the item he wanted but damn thats a stiff price to pay....
 
That isn't all that surprising. I think Doom has sold for less since then. Just like that Grey Hulk that went for $1125.00. Guy ended up having to relist and it went for $900.00.

You may be right. Still I think this buyer may be serious. His feedback looks good and honestly I have seen these things regularly going for around $1600. Maybe the buyer just thought "What's an extra $399 anyway." :lol:rotfl
 
The only pieces I could see paying that kind of money for are Cinemaquettes. As nice as these pieces are I just can't justify those prices being paid. Supply and demand though I guess.

I am not saying that this guy isn't serious, I just meant that because something goes high a couple times doesn't mean it will go high all the time. I just used the Grey hulk as an example of that.

Exactly. This is why it always boggles my mind when GG completeists pay so much for busts.
