Love me some Berserk -- I've only watched the 1997 anime so far, but I recently started reading the manga.

Any who -- differences in price/ scale aside, which line is supposed to be better? The Three Zero or the Tamashii Nations?

Different strengths.

Detail and shelf presence goes to Threezero, big figures, great detail but (apart from the Berserker armours) not ‘super’ posable. Also the fact that Black Swordsman, Skull Knight and Griffith are all available to preorder right now is a good opportunity to jump in. Both berserker armours are hard to get now though, though a casual berserker armour version is very likely to come along.

The SHF will probably be more fun in hand to pose/play, we’ll find out at the start of October when Guts is reviewed.

Plus the SHF should be able to mix with other lines in 1:12 like Figma: Femto just got put up for preorder (a reissue with an unfortunately high price) and they also showed off a great looking Skull Knight prototype.

I don't think it's short, I think it's just the angle of the photos that make it seem so.

This is hilarious. I wish his front hair strands were not so low though...wish they were shorter.

They’re shorter on the other heads, could be an alignment thing or just made longer at studio Gaga’s request, they were very involved.

As for the other Guts, the listing mentions 2 replacement leg parts. Seems they are the 180° bent legs to match the signature crouch, even though the regular legs get pretty close. Interesting addition that they didn’t have to include but cool that they provided the option. Does bump it to 14,300¥ (preorder discount will be a little less).
