Hi, I'm new here so I'm very sorry if this is in the wrong place. I just started a 1/6 scale collection and I want to make a custom Dr. House and I was wondering what a good, reasonably priced body would be?

What are you customizing? Heads? clothes? accesories?

Standard bodies are labeled as True Type by hot toys and have varying muscular complexion: Narrow shoulders, muscular body, etc. In my experience you could find all bodies in ebay.

Check out onesixthkit.com for a narrow shoulder body. Hot toys true types are nice, but way over-priced. There are knock-offs that are just as good on eBay and elsewhere if your just going to throw clothes on it. Check out the onesixthwarriors.com forum, also. There is an entire thread dedicated to all the different body types out there, comparing the good and bad.

I'm using a ZCWO Gregory head, do you happen to know if most bodies are compatible with most heads or? I feel so clueless I'm sorry.

That one has a neck, I believe? As I said, check out onesixthkit.com. Some of the bodies he has come with a removable neck, so the pin should go into the neck of the head sculpt you have.

So I looked around, saw a hot toys true type body and was wondering if you can use the heads with necks already on with those? This should be my final question :)

One question about compatibility, if I use a hot toys true type, do they usually work with other companies heads/feet/hands?

It depends. Headplay sculpts fit HT bodies. DID sculpts can be easily modified for the HT neck adapter, and DID use the same wrist pegs. ZCWO sculpts and hands should fit too. It really depends on what you have. But in most all cases sculpts can be modified to fit the HT neck adapters without too much of a fuss anyway if they don't fit. :) Hope that helps.

Awesome 1/6 body reference posted by Bleau from GeeWhiz Customs. "TTM-18 Clone" is the so-called "Custom Narrow Shoulder" you find in great numbers on eBay.
