I'm sure some of my choices are sure to be controversial like Predator 2 and Poltergeist II (both are bold, I know). Not to say I disliked the originals at all, just enjoyed the subsequent movie a little more. I bet me liking the TCM remake is bound to raise more than a few eyebrows.

It doubles for both Freddy and Jason, if it's your choice for both.

people criticize it for "bad acting" or "bad story" but both franchises never had great acting or great plots. If anything this was the first time in a Friday the 13th movie that there was an actual plot besides Jason killing people.
Part 6 also had a plot with the cop and Tommy and the camp with kids, but most Friday the 13th dont really have plots
This is also my favorite version of Jason and my favorite look

My issues with it is despite it's title there's very little actual Freddy vs. Jason fighting.

Not really. The movie is a little over 100 minutes and the two fights make up probably not even 20 minutes. Plus IMO way too much of it focused on the teenage characters. I can understand the first third or so setting it all up but the movie doesn't really go all-out with the whole concept of Freddy Vs. Jason.
