Best Hot Toys Alien?

haven't really followed them but i heard some had loose joints or fragile rubber. i guess the dog alien has no artic in the legs. so which is the best lookin, least problematic Alien lol. am kinda partial to a smooth dome. thanks

Definitely not the blue "Aliens" Warrior then I think that one had the most reports of breaking knees, hips, and ankles. It didn't have the smooth dome anyway, so no worries.

For the smooth dome, and tight joints, definately the AVP Alien.

I think it depends on how much you want to pose them. I don't move mine much once I get them where I like them.

None. Aside from my fear coming off of the Aliens one, I have no intrest in the AvP aliens, since im not a fan of either designs.

I liked the "Aliens" alien the best, despite all the quality control issues it has, its still a awesome looking piece, especially the head sculpt, I wish I had kept mine

If you like smooth dome then avp alien is the only hot toys alien out at the moment, Medicoms Alien is coming out soon and is looking pretty sweet, don't discount it either. And of course Hot Toys has the Dog Alien coming out soon aswell.

So there will be more smooth dome aliens to choose from soon, for all you smooth dome lovers

He looks just like the norm AVP one, just with grids, and a facehugger.

I will go for the AVP-R Alien as the best Hot Toys Alien so far. If the Predalien is counted as an Alien, then it will get my vote instead.

Still like the look of the Aliens one... too bad the joints were super weak. So, for overall I'd have to go with the AVP so far.

I'd say the Aliens one is my fave design since they haven't released the Alien monster. The ankle joints are loose, but with the tail propping it up, it's still a VERY impressive piece on the shelf. Can't vouch for any of the other ones, and I'm not a fan of the AVP design, though the AVPR one looks pretty good.

If you're in a hurry, I'd say go with the original AvP.
If you can wait, there's the Medi-alien and the HT A3 "dragon". And, of course, HT's take on Giger's alien.
