Best SideShow Statue, I don't care about price

I recently came into some money. I'm going to buy a statue. What do you think is the best statue I could buy?

In terms of what I have or don't want: Hulk Spidy dio, Dr. Doom, Spider-man comiquette, Angel, Croft PF, Punisher comiquette Tychus Findlay, Diablo 3 overthrown,

I'm looking for statues not on pre-order.

I didn't want to create a post just for this but I don't think there is any other way for me to get good suggestions.

One of the statues I am thinking about is Captain America PF (the older one) Thanos looks bad-ass. Thx

Anyhow, it's all up to you, man. It's a personal thing. It comes down to taste. Also, what else do you collect? Which item would fit in best with your collection?

I'm afraid you won't get the answer you are looking for here. The only one who can answer that question is yourself. It's not always about the price that the general public agrees to. An item could be worth a lot more to yourself.

No, I'm just looking at what people really like and then I'll check it out myself. This will help me check out some really nice statues.

Just remember to be true to yourself. Don't adjust your taste to conventional thinking. Collecting has become almost a sports discipline or competition. Many collectors adjust their taste according to public opinion, and that's a shame.

I guess people enjoy having grails that they can brag about. This way they gain recognition amongst the collecting community.

Hey, I did that myself, getting the Captain America PF. Still, I really, really love it.

Comic Captain America & Wolverine Premium Formats would be my Grails & probably Thor as well. Kinda hope SS will revisit them again soon in different poses. I'll get one of the above eventually though, just a case of getting my PO's payed up & then saving up.

Thor PF (EX) is also my favorite. Easy for me to say since I have Captain America already. But it's really a fantastic piece. It's just difficult to display properly.

As I always say: collect for yourself, buy the items you really like and what YOU will enjoy having in your collection for a looong time. And do not forget: one man's grail, could be other man's garbage and viceversa. If you intend to get the items for your collection (and not for scalping/flipping) then do a research about those collectibles and get which one you like most. That is the fun of serious collecting. I know you're a marvel can so I'm gonna suggest a Comic Thor PF. If you can, get the exclusive. The original head is a bit too Fabio for me but the exclusive bearded head is just awesome. I have it and it is amazing and really huge. Fits into a detolf too if need to be.

Totally agree. Also in regard to the EX. It's a must, in my opinion. The viking look is just fantastic.

I pretty much own all of these pieces, as to why I recommend those. Oh best bang for your buck PF = Green Goblin. So underrated! So amazing! Probably my favorite.


But for sheer size and value I would get Legendary Scale Dr. Doom...
