Best way to get the gasoline effect in clothes?

I am looking for the best way to get the gasoline stain in clothes. I am building a custom two-face with parts from hot toys and wanted to know what I could use to give it that stained effect? thanks

I think people have been using black paint, diluted down with water for the soiled effect

they usually make the color of that material darker and always has a wet look to it.

I'd try watering down some black paint and then varnishing the stain when it has dried.

I have some jeans that I use for dirty jobs, some stains on those look like gasoline stains. I think it was from Polystyrene cement, or similar. Worth experimenting with.

Well, I suppose you could always use real gas

You would just have to keep him away from open flames and other heat sources.

maybe baby oil? then dirt it up. you could do a trail on some fabric. Im just guessing here. good luck.

I'm guessing real oil would work but I have no idea. maybe some watered down black paint hope everything works out.

Get some old scraps and test out different things.

I actually did it with some watered down acrylic black paint and waiting to see how it looks once it dries. But it looks great so far.
