Beware HCG Flex Pay Option

I just would like to make it aware to my fellow collectors that if you think about flex paying on HCG products and you want to return your item due to damage, dont expect your refund to come back to your account in one lump sum. You get refunded in individual payments and it could take up to at least a few weeks to get it back in full. Ive never had to deal with that with sideshow and their flex pay. Theyve always refunded in full and any items Ive returned to any company refunded my money within 10 business days and never over that alloted time frame.

Its been 11 days since they accepted my return and I kept getting the run around statement that their credit issuing company has to invesigate the issue first before they can get the authorization to refund me. I kept on being persistant about the refund and stated that it shouldnt take more than 10 business days for the refund to apply to my account and that I was going to contact my bank to run a chargeback to my account. And then he states that it just so happens that the issuing credit company came back with an authorization.

Also be aware that I had paid in full a flex pay, 8 pay flex option. Theyre policy states that you can be penalized $100 on flex pays if you cancel before the 6, 7, & 8 payments. I canceled the item after it was payed in full for a good several months. He tells me I should have been penalized but out of good faith he didnt charge me. Thats bs. The policy states otherwise.

Just giving a heads up to anyone to whom is thinking about flex paying with this company to think otherwise. You just might want to order and pay in full later . Or you can take a risk and deal with the same bs I went through.

Oh and he disabled my account with HCG for good measure. Awesome. :yess: LOL!!
 
Hmmm...thanks for posting that bit of information. I was thinking on Flexpaying their Selene statue.

Sorry to hear about your trouble with HCG . . . I had a good experience with them though . . .

Flexed my Selene and she came with cross eyes . . they are sending me a new one and even took photos of my replacement before sending her out.

Glad you got your full refund though.
 
So why did they do this to you? They don't want your business anymore? Did you get into a verbal argument?

I guess he took it personal when I responded to his ("you should have been penalized but out of good faith I didnt charge you because youre a loyal customer.") and explained his return policy back to him. That and I think it might have also something to do with me canceling the rest of my PO's, Lycan and their crappy looking SDCC exclusive Zombie Dog.

Whatever. Their human portraits are inaccurate with 95% of their human statues they make. And its always more misses than hits with the protos. I typically buy their monsters. Those turn out pretty well.
