Let's talk Sideshow Star Wars. I have my review up of the new Bib Fortuna from Sideshow, and he's extremely nice. Not Maul nice, but certainly just a step down from there. He's going to look great with Jabba (who should be shipping in the States very soon) and the Salacious Crumb pack (which has already shipped).

You can find all the reviews at the usual:

Thanks for reading!

Wow Michael, only 3 1/2, huh? I thought at least a 3 3/4. I know you love Maul, but for me he seems a little small, especially when I have him crouched. Don't get me wrong, I love my Maul, but I think Bib is also right up there! The exclusive staff gives him an extra star, IMO. As to his expression, I think its in reaction to Luke drawing the blaster on Jabba. Otherwise great review, thanks always.

The more I see him the more I want that weak-minded fool! Although he's only going to further fuel my craving for Jabba, but I'll just have to stay on the bench as far as he goes for some time...

But man, Bib looks sweet! Similar to kit, he seem to have one of the more intense headsculpts and I really think that any creature is possible now.

Great review, Michael, thanks!

I do also believe Bib is another home-run and thought he'd rank 4 stars... but hey, each figure in hand can vary. I like the way this line is improving though.

My only gripe with the Bib figure is that the sleeves could be a little longer... but thankfully the bracelets can cover that up. But he's a great figure. I thinkt he only thing that really holds him back from perfection is being a lower-ranked character. I don't think Sideshow could have honestly done a better job with him.

True Galactiboy and I believe that's why Bib came to us so fast, if he didn't have those bracelets SS would have had to address the measurement issues, and delay the production. Please address this issue SS! Please, this line is getting better with each figure! :chew

Great review Michael!
The looseness of his blue waistband thingy bugged me too. I tightened it up by folding the fabric over and have a paper clip holding it in behind his back.

I was going to pass on Bib, but like Fisto who was also going to be a pass, once I saw the actual figure, I just had to have him. SS really did a bang up job on him. He is easily a one of the best figures in the line so far.

Bib was one of my most wanted, and the staff was something I never hoped I'd get to have included, and I'm just so stoked about Bib and how he turned out, staff and all. I was shaking with joy when the pics from SDCC started coming in. Even the news of Jabba didn't overshadow my delight in getting Bib. Having him in hand, that feeling has not changed a bit. He's one of the best figures I've ever bought from Sideshow.

This is me gushing.

I was actually against adding Bib in my collection and if it weren't for Jabba I probably would have passed. But I'm damn glad I didn't because he turned out to be an awesome figure!

Yeah, a nice piece. I'm glad I decided to get him because of how great he looks and will look with the Jabba setup.

Yeah, I think my Jabba set-up would not be as cool if Bib was missing.

I agree. I really wasn't sold on getting Leia, Bib, Jabba, and the gang till I saw that setup at SDCC. I nearly **** my pants when I saw them. I told Brant that was one of the coolest setups and sets of pieces ever.

So what are you going to do with yours Josh? I know your hurtin' for space as it is... I know I am :monkey2

:lol Nearly identical for me too.

I think 3 1/2 stars is right. I'd give my paint only 3 stars because he has that heavy sunburnt pink wash a few others have had. Is isn't bad, but seeing as they all aren't like that, it makes me a bit sad :monkey2

"Uh yeah, I'd like to exchange my Bib Fortuna exclusive figure. Mine is sunburnt. I wanted the Palace version, not the Sail Barge version" :rotfl

Well, I think I have a spot for him. I'm gonna be renting a storage unit I do believe and that will open up a wall. I then plan to go get some shelving and put it along that wall. This will give me some display space for Jabba and a few more figures.
