Finally got my “3 amigos set up”

Here is my review for what it is worth

The good

1- Amazing headsculpts on all three figures
2- Very detail clothing
3- Great presentation with all the boxes
4- For $250 a pop, these are pretty good value
for what figures cost these days
5- OJ and GF has the right scale to the real
Characters..including Connery

The Bad

1-There should not be Paint Rubs in figures
if QC was there in my opinion
2-Buttons should not be falling off as soon
As you get the figures in Hand

The UGLY

1- Connery’s Suit is not what I imagined
considering BC spend so much time telling
everyone how they source the suit for development
, quality and refinement . The gap between
Proto type and production is startling

2- Connery’s Shirt and Tie would fit right in
on a $50 SSBond Figure.

3- see # 1 on The Bad

If you are a Fan of Bond, these figures will probably delight
*75% of the 1/6 fan base

*25% It will be interesting to hear what
Ray “ The Bond franatic “ say about his set :)

Love this figure...I think Big Chief did a really good job :clap

Only downside is that, yes, I also have the paint rub on the nose. Unfortunate, but I can live with it for the next month or so until the replacement heads start being sent out.

I wonder when they will make Lazenby? I'm thinking maybe last, as he was only in one film. Personally I think he would of been great in the role. If he had not bailed out after one film.

There are a couple of types of craft iron. One looks like a toy iron, the other like a soldering iron with a spade-shaped tip. That latter kind is also good for replacing these types of buttons, which come with glue on the back that must be heated to adhere.

If you check someplace like Joanne's, there's also a mesh screen that will let you iron without actual contact with the fabric. Prevents scorching.

And I heard from BIG Chief today. Replacement heads are en route from China with the second shipment of figures, and scheduled to arrive in the UK on January 8.

But do we need to send spoiled head back, or they just will send new one to us?

Good someone heard back. About how long did Terry take to respond? I sent several pictures and I'm wondering if they all went through or if it got spammed.

I finally received my three Goldfinger figures on Saturday. First of all, congratulations to Big Chief! They did an amazing job!!! Bond, Goldfinger and Oddjob look stunning awesome! You can really feel and see the effort and passion they put into this. But sadly on their way from Asia, my three figures also lost paint on their noses. Thankfully Big Chief will replace the heads in January. They sent me today an e-mail with nearly the same response as it was posted here a few pages before.

Big Chief Studios said:
Many thanks for sending through the images and apologies that the item you have received has faulty parts.

The initial shipment of stock has all been allocated out to cover customer pre-orders and as such we do not currently have spare stock to cover replacements.

Our replacement parts have shipped from China with the second shipment of figures. These are scheduled to arrive on 8th January 2018. We will begin to progress any replacement parts from that date.

Please retain your figure and we shall send out your replacement parts once they are available.

Best Regards

Once again congratulations to this beautiful figures Big Chief! Can’t stop watching them. I have already a pleasant anticipation for their Live And Let Die line.

(This Picture does really not justice to how great the figures look in real, but I want to show you their first poses in their new home)

It seems like everyone has paint issues on the nose rubs. How can you throw out a figure like 5%? Is this 5% reported issues? It doesn’t mean there are not more that are not reported. I’m already prepared to fix this on my own if I have any rubs

The percentage is steadily rising I would think. I'm hoping (in vain) that bbts's allotment is going to be better off... I'm not holding my breath. Its a shame a premier license like Bond is fighting an uphill battle right out of the gate.

Mine had a small nose rub I mailed BCS about it, in the meantime I used some flesh tone felt tips on the nose tip, seems to of covered most of it up. I don't really think you can call this a QC issue though. I'm guessing all the heads went in the box fine and the rubs have happened in transit, so no one could of known. I bet BCS are mighty pissed off about this though.

The figure was below 5% it’s getting sadly closer to 5% they do not have all the nose rubs. We are going off a number of factors. The amount of people who has received them with this issue. Plus the amount of people who have messaged us saying how much they love them with no issues which is currently out numbering the people with nose rubs. Plus we have done a number of checks on the remaining stock, which thankfully is way below 5%. This is something we did not want obviously and the factory is looking into this issue and are replacing all nose rubs.

Nearly 800 figures have been shipped now. There does seem a lot on this forum for sure but not everyone is on this forum that own these figures. It’s a very small number on here to what has been shipped and received. As I have said previously we don’t even want one nose rub but sadly we have and all we can do currently is replace all heads with this issue and of course we will. I hope that helps and makes sense?

Thanks

Gregg

Love you Greggo, I'm glad all the negativity in this thread hasn't severed our only tie to Big Chief's inner sanctum.
