Complain, rewind , repeat.
This algorithm is wearing very thin.

Agreed. This thread is made up of the same people making the same complaint over and over again. It’s getting old now.

This is a forum. Forums allow both sides of any argument/opinion. The figure has issues. People want to talk about/express those issues. What's your problem? If you don't like other people's opinions then you can 1)Ignore them and scroll past. 2)Block them.

At least everyone else is moaning about the figures and not other people like you guys.

Do I have gripes about certain aspects of the figures? Sure.

Is it a bummer that the nose rub happened? Absolutely.

Am I overjoyed that I have a trio of nice figures from my fav James Bond film? Heck yeah.

Even with the issues, it is still a VERY exciting line for me. Something that isn't Star Wars or Marvel in 1/6 right now feels pretty good to begin with... Add in that it is James Bond and that it isn't shying away from doing the supporting cast too? Sign me up. All-in.

Just learn from the mistakes BCS.

So will it be the same pattern as the first wave with one wave released a year?

I could handle 2 waves per year if they stick to 3 figures just to make the line as complete as possible. Any more than that though and I will have to start picking and choosing.

Dr. No is after LALD, right? Here's hoping for On Her Majesty's Secret Service for wave 4 if so!

well unfortunately, my "no issues" was a little premature as similar to Ray's experience, as I was handling the figure, I noticed that some of the hair paint was rubbing off. So I took that as an opportunity to repaint the hair completely with better hairline, as well as touch up the eyebrows and lips. Coated it in a sealer to prevent any further rubbing as well. I'll post pics later as I'm still tinkering with the suit. Going to try another body tonight or tomorrow and then hopefully chop off some of the neck to fit it on a standard 1/6 body.

We need new complainers, with new complaints damn it! :)

:lol

You, in the red shirt! Come on down! You're the next complainer on.... Wheel - of - Torture!

Hear! Hear!

Almost nothing can deter me from my excitement of having Auric Goldfinger and his sidekicks (Oddjob and Bond) on my shelf.

It's a little Gert Frobe, dammit. That's crazy. Who the hell would think we'd get that?

And paint rub on mine from BBTS. Email incoming... Let's see how long it takes to hear back. Fingers crossed.

I changed the body for a HT Reeve Superman body with most of the rubber cut off, leaving only a small amount on the shoulders. The extra height etc does wonders although the shoulders need more work. TConnery's Bond was a beast of a man and the extra height and bulk reflects this. I had already cut the lining out of the waistcoat and removed the fasteners, which I will replace with small magnets. The shirt didn't fit so I cut the the arms off. I'm currently looking at options for a quality repaint which start at around $300. Obviously I had to cut the neck down considerably. All completely normal for a £230 figure.

Been after a Goldfinger since 2003. Sideshow should of made him, but imagine what we may of got from them all those years ago?

That's true, but it would be fun to see. I bet Sideshow would have made the tux for Goldfinger back then because its his simplest outfit (after that canary yellow onesy at the pool :lol).

Watching Doctor Who: Revenge of the Cybermen.
The prop hairbrush from LALD which is one of the accessories in the BC set turns up in this Who story.
Kellman (played by Jeremy Wilkin) uses it in much the same way as Bond does. So... the accessory can be have a dual function. Used with Bond or BCs 4th Doctor.
Third BC link. Jeremy Wilkin played the voice of Virgil Tracy in Thunderbirds. BC release that figure this month...
There you are, a way to connect three BC action figures- through a hairbrush !!!
