note: this is about the general shopping phenomenon known as "black friday," this is not to be confused with Sideshows "Black and White Friday."

I just came across a very handy web site that has posted scans of the upcoming black friday ads. Lots of good deals going on, too many to list here. Check it out here: https://bfads.net/

Why anyone goes shopping on Black Friday is beyond me. Crowds are unbearable. Unless you get all of your items for under a buck it just isn't worth it.

Besides I'd rather see what Sideshow has in store for us: "Server-Crashers?" :lol

This day for some people is like PPO days for us. They like to get the limited sales and will fight for them sometimes it can be funny watching them get upset when they don't get the deal.

I'm going to try to make it to Fry's Electronics, they usually have some pretty crazy stuff there for people who live by one.

Screw that crap i have a buddy who works at Best Buy and they say there have lines as early as 2am of late. I just notice the laptop I got is $200 less that day but still not worth getting there that early in the morning. I am hapy with the $200 I saved but I guess saving $400 would be nice.

You think stores are busy on Black Friday. Ever been to a movie theater on Thanksgiving or Black Friday? I worked at one on Thanksgiving Day the week that HOME ALONE opened.

I have never been more disappointed or disgusted in the human race.

In fact, up until then I never even realized that people actually left their homes on Thanksgiving or Christmas Day... and in droves. :dunno

I worked retail for over three years before becoming a Teacher and while Black Friday is busy (no requested days off are granted and lunch breaks are taken in store in case you are needed with lunch provided by the management) its not busier than the Day after Christmas, that day handling all the GCs and returns is complete and utter madness.

I usually skip out on this day but my wife and I found crazy deals one year at Frys and Staples and now we do it every year.

I used to skip black friday too but I went out last year begrudgingly and found some killer deals so I might do it again this year. Still it's freaking crazy out there and people get really nasty. I really have to decide if it's worth it honestly.

I've never gone out before but my parents have. But this year I have to do a photography project to take some pictures of the crowds of people, so I'll be going. Plus there's some good deals. I hope for some good HD-DVD prices or something.
