What's the average price for Blitzway 1/4 statue? is it a mix media?
The main issue is their massive delays. Their Elvis was announced in 2020 and is still not out.
I don' really know about heir prices today, but their pieces are mixed media, yes.

That’s a great way to encourage me to pay monthly. £20 a month for 2 years will more than cover it. Love that it’s mixed media. Definitely wouldn’t be interested in a pure polystone Kurt.
Shame there’s no rooted hair though.

That’s a full on silicone skin piece though. Even the stubble is punched hair so I don’t expect Blitzway’s to really compete.

Weird lyricsheet with some made-up lyrics. They probably didn't have the license for actual Nirvana lyrics, since the bandname is mentioned nowhere.
And it's from the MTV Unplugged video which I didn't like back then and still don't like today. So it's an easy pass for me.

Yeah those lyrics are just silly. I assume that's meant to be About A Girl just done wrong in every way. Would absolutely have to stick some paper over that with the correct words on.
Unplugged is basically peak Nirvana for me so I'm strongly considering this. Just gotta see where it's available to ship to the UK first.
I think the 1/6 figure neutral sculpt actually looks a bit better than this too.

Lol the headstock straight up says kurt cobain.
Likeness not really coming through for me here.
Roughly the same release window as the BttF2 Delorean... I am going to have to go with the Delorean and pass on this. Hopefully it's still around later in the year into Q1 2024.

They probably didn't bother getting the rights to the Frightwig shirt, since companies have been ripping that off since Unplugged first aired.
The likeness looks like thicker-necked / less heroin-ed Cobain from the pre-Nevermind period, but with some Unplugged stubble, mixed with some guy who is very much not Kurt Cobain.
I still wonder if the clothes will be full garments, or just have the appearance of being layered. Because 4+ shirts and a sweater, and at least two pairs of pants seems like a nightmare at 1/6.

I am impressed with some of the details, though. The Tom Peterson watch and the Fugazi / Vedder joke on both shoes (spelled correctly!) could have easily been missed.
Though instead of including those weird tribute book things, they should have included the WFMU catalog he was reading from.
