British actor Bob Hoskins, who rose to fame for his performance in the film "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" and dozens of others, has died after a bout of pneumonia at the age of 71, his publicist said on Wednesday.

I haven't seen him in many films, but as sad as it is I loved him in "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" and "Super Mario Bros." (yes, i thought he was one of the few good things about that movie). Seemed like a great person. Very charismatic. RIP.

Yeah. Say what you will about the film…but Hoskins was a genius casting choice.
