1250 is a nice low edition size for the people who've ordered this. But I don't get this whole regular open edition size thing that they've got going on with the Predator Masked Hunter Legendary Scale Bust, too. It almost seems like Sideshow are deliberately trying to run the after sale value of certain collectibles into the ground. But if that's true with these 2 items then one really has to ask themselves if these items are worth the asking price to begin with. :huh

I should mention that I, myself, have the Predator LSB on order & have no intention of cancelling it regardless of the regular open edition size. But that doesn't mean that I'm OK with it either.

Yeah I'm nervous personally. Flooding the market does make me seriously think twice about making the purchase initially

it was. they just didn't determine an ES beforehand and didn't stick a number on them.

the exclusive was limited to 200, IIRC.

That's my biggest problem. IMO, all statue needs an Es. Not having one is a big red flag. In hindsight, I should have never bought the avengers Hulk.

Wasn't the Droids PF limited edition too, the reg?

Thats a bad comparison though. The Droids reg vs EX were vastly different. Different base, paint up, and the EX was extremely low for two such figures.

I doubt they would have gone out of production if sales had been better/production issues hadn't arisen. They could still bring them back at any time though.

Trouble is, as long as Fett is in production on the Reg, the EX is never going to rise much. Does this EX make any difference? Not a must have.

Considering the initial price, I wouldn't count on this being a good buy from a financial perspective. Even though I was all set to order, makes no sense for me to do so now. Will just wait and see what Hot Toys comes up with and weigh that against whatever discounts come down the road on the O/E Fett.

I have never bought anything that is limited edition. Most of the time it's a guaranteed loss

pretty lame having an open ES for the reg

Who is this new breed of collector that is empowering ss to do unlimited es...is this figure spillover

The EX is not huge but I like options. Will watch the inventory while I think about possibly getting the OG Fett instead.
