I got this Wolf Cleaner Kit for my b-day last week. I started putting it together this weekend. I have a few other Preds and know it take sometime to make them look right so i was taking it. When putting the netting on i moved the right arm up and the dam thing Snapped off. I didn't put any pressure on the thing just moved it up. Makes me mad, the one time the wife gets it and buys me something cool it goes and breaks. I was able to fix it with a screw and some glue but it doesn't hold its place like the left does. She bought this from a Comic shop and theres no taking something like this back so i have to live with it.
Has anyone else had this happen to there Wolf or any other Hot toys Fig and what did you do. I'm thinking of sending an email to Hot Toys to see if they care but i dought it will help.

First thing to do is return it to the store you bought it from. They are the ones to get you a replacement. This is what you should have done before attempting any repair yourself. They ought to return it to wherever they got it from i.e. the distributor, who should replace it. If they are unable to replace it, say due to it being sold out, then they ought to return it to Hot Toys for a replacement. This of course can take some time.

The other option, which you would use if you bought it from a private ebay auction, for instance, would be to take pictures of the damage, and send them as an attachment to an email you send directly to Hot Toys, and ask them what steps they would like you to take. This will probably incur shipping expenses. Then again they may choose to send a replacement part to you, depending upon the nature of the damage.

This has probably all been negated by your attempt at repair, but it wont hurt to try, because you could end up with the item you should have received in the package. One that doesn't fall apart when being operated in the boundaries of reasonable use.

Hot Toys are getting a worse reputation than Medicom when it comes to fragility of their plastic. They ought to change their plastics formula. This is happening much too often for the price of the product. Arms, legs, wrist pins. It's crap. Hot Toys ought to be informed, and the best way is to contact them, regardless if they do something to alleviate your problem or not. So give it a shot.

Go to the Hit Toys site and email them (NOT internally as they never reply to that). Use the email address given on their contact page and send pics of the figure and receipt if poss. The address is "[email protected] or other."

And if none of this works I suppose you could always buy a new body off of Ebay.

I'm not sure which part of the arm broke off, but I have an extra wolf arm if you want to try and screw it on the area where the arm broke. I can give it to you when you pick up the other pred stuff.

BTW, I don't think I'll ever find that other shin guard or the necklace, unfortunately. However, I've got the Wolf loincloth and P2 Elder knee pad and I found his knife as well.

Let me know.

Thanks Ben Give me a call when your Free.

I sent Hot toys a note on there site. I also sent a note to the Seller I don't expect a reply form them. It broke right at the peg then goes into the body. I have had that same thing happen to other toy brands. They just don't make these things out of soft enough plastic.
