Has SIDESHOW ever considered acquiring the rights to the late 70's early 80's tv show Buck Rogers?... I'd love (and I'm sure that other mid 30+ year olds who grew up with it and the original Battlestar Galactica) to see a 1/6 of Buck Rogers (Gil Gerard), Col. Wilma Deering (Erin Gray), and Twiki... Heck, even a Tigerman, Princess Ardala's henchman, would be cool.

Just wondering (as I watch the series on DVD and feeling nostalgic)...

Remember the movie before the tv series came out? Those people "outside" or whatever scared me.

My uncle was a projectionist at a movie theater at the time. My dad, one of my brothers, & I got to see it with no one else at the theater...

I was thinking about this too, as I watched the DVDs not long ago. But, I think PFs would be awesome...make all 3: Buck, Wilma, and Twiki, all in their pose from the poster/DVD cover. Then make the bases fit together, or a seperate base, where you could display all 3 together, like the image. Now that would be classic.

That would have been a great experience. Yes, the movie was great-- I still have the comics based on the movie-- and I had a few of the 3 3/4 action figs, but I remember that the Buck broke apart twice and each time my parents had me write to (Galoob?... Kenner?... I can't remember which company it was) to get a new one.

That's a tremendous idea... Hopefully sometime SSC feel the same way. I just figure that the majority of collectors who have at least an entire room in their home dedicated to their collection (which I count myself among) are of the age that the show holds a special (disco) place in their nostalgic heart.
