Buffy-ize your computer

This is smoething that makes me smile constantly.

A member over at slayalive taught me to Buffy-ize my computer with different soundbites. Now when a pop up window get's blocked, the Spike quote "Someone isn't worthy" plays, and when a programme closes, Spike says "We are finished here, ducks". Those are just a few of my new computer sounds.

I just went into the control panel and found the sound section and went nuts.

And for the love of God, don't forget to save the new sound settings, like I did the first time.

It makes me so happy hearing Spike say "Hello gorgeous" and other sexy thing to me all the time.

I just saw all of the Spike clips. Is there any from any of the other characters?

Not on that site, no.

I guess you can find a clip on youtube, download through keepvid, open in windows media maker and save in wav.

Or google soundbites+buffy or something alike.

I had mine like that 2 years ago. But I wont lie, it got to be alot. So I went back to my original computer sounds. But I still saved the sound bites I liked most just in case.

I can see that happening, but it must have been pretty fun in the beginning.

Yeah it was. And then I'd feel like they were too repetitive so I would change them up. But yeah...don't do them for common sounds your pc/mac makes.

I'll keep that in mind. I'd have Kendra and Buffy saying, "Two Slayers...No waiting," for everything I do on the computer. Closing a window, emptying the recycling bin, turning on the computer, etc.

There's SO many clips! I don't know which to choose.

Maybe do what I'm going to do once I have time, save different sound-"schemes", so you can switch between different lists whenever you like.
