I can't believe this!!! I'm at home today, as I have the day off, and guess what is airing in syndication on MTV?!?!??

BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER!!!!

Did anyone else know this??? I'm watching Season 3's "Anne" right now!!! :rock

I haven't seen Buffy air on TV in so long. I know some of you mentioned it still airs on some lesser known networks, but this is the first major network I've seen it air on in quite some time. It's been years since I've seen it on Fox, FX, etc. (in my local area anyway.)

I just wanted to pass the word onto Whedonville and its fans!! This just made my day!!

Grrrr....Argggg. :stake

I just looked ahead on my TV guide and apparently, it's airing all this week at 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM EST. It only seems to be airing once a day as of now. (I can't look any farther ahead, so if any of you get more info, be sure to post please!!)

Hopefully, this will air late nights as well in the future.

The other network is LOGO.

As far as MTV goes, apparently it began airing on January 10th, kicking off with a 8 hour marathon! WHERE WAS I?!?!? :lol Anyways, just another FYI.

Why would anyone watch the tv with adds etc when you can watch them uninterrupted on DVD.

It's ALWAYS different for me when it airs on TV. It feels like the good ol' days!!! :lol Haven't you heard people say they'll buy a movie on DVD and will never open it, but when it airs on TV, they'll sit and watch the whole thing. It's a weird phenomenon.

Not only that, but there's an element of spontaneity when it airs in syndication on television. I don't know which ep. will air next, keeping it "fresh."

I guess. But there is nothing like a martaton viewing of multiple episodes on DVD for me. Beats watching re runs on tv.

I definitely see both sides of the coin. I guess the commercial interruption makes me feel like I'm back in the day. :lol :monkey2

Hmm, knew it was on Logo - DIDN'T know it was on MTV. And personally - unless the episode gets cut for time (OMWF) I prefer watching it on tv.

LOGO had it playing as their New Years Slay. It was great. 'vahla Ha'nesh' and I watched it all day and night that day. And well..I don't catch it on Logo now but I did pop in some season 3 before bed last night. I love my Buffy.
