OK.. I have officially lost my mind... I kept tinkering with the idea of how cool it would be if I could pose the PF Indy's arms at least.. finally today.. I said heck with it and just snapped of his left arm... figured there is no turning back.. but it looks as though it should be a VERY easy project... I realized that the legs of a 1/6 Sideshow body ( old Buck body) are pretty much spot on in length for the 1/4 arm... after fitting them into position and setting them with gorilla glue I will be good to go.... one issue is that the hands keep you from taking the jacket on and off because of how wide they are.. so the hands will attach to the forearm about mid way between the wrist and elbow with strong rare earth magnets.. that will also allow me to reposition the rotation of the hand as well... ( now if I could only get an assortment of 1/4 hands sculpts !!) anyhoo... will post more progress as i go along... meanwhile.. enjoy the pics of my decent into madness !!!!

SNAPPED OFF !!!

I've always wondered if it was possible to do something like this. I'm glad to see someone is brave enough to try it. Keep us posted. Good luck!

photo of magnet attached to hand for ease of putting clothing on without the hands attached and ability to rotate the wrist freely..

Someone did the same thing to their Boba PF awhile back, using the 12" legs for the arms as well.

Damn, you're crazy!:horror Seriously dude, well done for having the balls to tackle something like this with something so expensive...:clap
QUESTION: How tight are the joints on that buck? The reason i ask is coz that jacket is quite restrictive so the joints would battle against an arm pose possibly???

oohhh I do love me a good 'proper' project like this. Can't wait to follow it through! :bow

I've always preferred statues, so I don't really see the need for articulation, but it can still be cool, and there's alot of figures out there that I like. Only thing is the legs look too thin compared to his arms, but it'll be interesting to see how it all turns out. Keep us posted man, and good luck!

Pallie, you're all kinds a crazy, but I'm excited to see the outcome. Good luck with it.

WOW you must have to wear special pants to keep you huge balls covered up! :horror

Pretty cool idea. Can't wait to see the end result! :rock

Awesome idea! Have you thought about using Truetype legs? The knee joints have a more natural looking knee cap compared to the Buck and they also could look more natural as the point of an elbow at this scale.
