I already forget I have a thread here for my collection. I have taken a leave on this forum since 2012 because the small apartment I own in HK was run out of space. And my philosophy on statues is simple: cannot display it, do not buy it. In these years, having a chance to go into retailing Yugioh TCG, I finally got a space for myself at the shop so I can finally become a collector again.

Moving the statues to the new shop is not something you guys might experience; all the boxes are located at another place, so I can just packed things by being creative.



If you know me, you know I am not really good at taking care of statues. As a result Hawkeyes is dead and Galactus' head is broken.



This is how I am displaying things for now





Hope to update this thread in the coming future when I start moving my second lot of item. Hope things go better this time.

Received this baby a few months ago, since I have been so caught up by my study (I just finish my thesis today) and the new business, it has been standing in the living room for months.

It just looks astonishing with the light, Cyclops is like shouting "Give me back the damn money!!!!" It will be even better if he is holding a dead body.

Yoda and 501

I had been looking for this statues for months since I started. In Nov, I got it from a local collector at $250 because he was quitting the hobby. The statue came MIB and it was such a shame that very few Hong Kongers love statues. The photos themselves do not justice the statue, it looks more dynamic in person. The only thing I would like to complain about the statue, like the other PF lightsaber, it sucks, the light is freaking weak.

Never like this statue and does not know why I have it. The only thing I have to say about this, HT Spiderman, you can suck it.

Destroyer has been one of the most surprising one in my collection, the paint is exceptional, I always love how sandy it looks and I always wonder what kind of paint is this, I would really love to see this paint on my custom statues. Another highlight, the light up feature of the statue, only video can justify how funny it is.

Bucky PF has been the most under-appreciated CA PF. Yes, it is true he is no Rogers but neglecting who he is, SSC has nailed this piece, again. The pose is dynamic and it looks good basically from every angle and it is so good that I got 2 of this, one Reg, one EX.

Yes, the paint of this thing sucks but I am keeping it because it is a gift. More photo on the way.

XM Studio Captain America 139/500

Ok, things have been said about this Cap and this is my first XM statue. Personally, I do not think it is the best Cap statue I have; I still like the original SSC PF more, neither I can say it is "way" better than the new SSC Cap PF. Yet, I am happy to own this Cap at a higher price for these very simple reasons:

1: It does make me feel exclusive. Not 1 of 5000 but 1 of 500. And the enter of serial number is just, well, reminding me I am a collector of an exclusive line of product.
2: The detail is just right, when I unbox a SSC stuff, I always am baffled about how to fit those things back. Not only I do not need a cutter, XM puts everything accordingly.

Verdict, to me I do not care about secondary market because statue at my place always got broke either by me or my wife; and neither I think I will resell anything (I might give them out for free, my philosophy is you pay for what you like, if you want to enjoy your hobby while making a premium, do it the right way, don't spoil your hobby) so I do not really care about the value. But XM makes me feel something I can only get from very early SSC pieces, so XM congratulation, you have a new fans !
