I usually go and just keep to myself. Never have been big on meeting many from any of these forums. Especially after the first few years of being on these boards.

Something that I wouldn't mind doing this year. I guess I'll try to come out of my shell this year. I'm usually so caught up in taking pictures looking at all the displays, that I just skip on the meet and greet part of SDCC. Most times it not high on my list of things to do while I'm in SDCC, considering I just go for Saturday. This year I have no kids or wife and I'll be down there Friday & Saturday.

The meet and greet happens after SDCC is closed for the day. Unless you. have access to the floor after hours, I'm not sure how taking pics is an excuse for not meeting a few folks. I do understand the "coming out of your shell" reasoning but a few adult beverages can help cure this malady.

The only other collector from this forum that I've met in person was SOLIDSNAKE. He dropped by NY a few years ago to attend the Metal Gear Solid signing session with Hideo Kojima. It was a great day, we had a blast.

I've made a few other friends around here, and it would be great to meet them as well.

Like I was saying, I usually come on Saturday. Catching the train with the family from Oxnard to (4 Hr train ride) San Diego. Arriving in SD around 9-9:30 in the morning, so that leaves me and the family from 9AM until about 4PM to take all of the Con in, before it's time for us to get back on the train and get home. I'm sure you know that SDCC is a huge place to try to take in all in one day. Plus if you know me I'm all about trying to get the best quality photos of whatever subject that's in front of my camera, so that sometime takes time. This year have two days and I'll have more than enough time to meet some of my fellow brethren of the forums.
