Last time toy box were designed to house the toy inside, nowadays it's to attract people to buy them by making them look as big as possible, putting plastic molds to hold the toys, which makes it impossible to make the box smaller for storage. Usually they like to make their box dimension thicker than they need to.

For 1/6, i notice Medicom is still the minimalist, but i wished they'd make their boxes as compact as their kamen rider real human form figures, or the old school RAH packages where you can just shrink the whole box into a magazine just like Hasbro Star War Boxes.

It was really cool to have big box when they 1st do it but when they decide to release full line of products (like Ironman) the boxes poses more of a space problem compared to the figures themselves.

And not many people are willing to part with their boxes for collection/value purpose.

Not sure how those people living in mouse like homes like folks in Hong Kong & Singapore/Japan cope with it.

Big boxes are fine with me... as long as they're not weirdly shaped like the HT Superman. That thing was a nuisance to have to store.

Yes. . .you can vote on such a thing, using a forum poll. Not that it will matter one bit. Sideshow and Hot Toys boxes are usually of a sufficient size to house the figures and afford it proper protection. It isn't like companies want to spend more money manufacturing bigger packages than they need to. This is done out of necessity.
