I actually watched this and oh man, this movie sucks BIG TIME.

The CG is absolutely gorgeous and quite frankly, that's the only positive I have to say about this movie. The plot is just ridiculous. It makes absolutely no sense and I've read crack fanfics that have a better plot. Most of the characters are one-dimensional. We have two heroes who basically screwed over their loved ones and yet take almost no responsibility for it. I'm still wondering why most of Harlock's crew is even on the ship and follows him so blindly.
