I don't think the rest of the women were "dolly birds", just that Donna.... annoying. Not a mind of her own woman, but an obnoxious twit.
I was hoping she'd remember the Doctor so that she could die.

Well sorry I loved her, and she did seem to be very popular with a lot of the viewership in the UK as well which was pleasing.

No need for sorrow. You are entitled to like her as much as I don't. I'm sure her having her own show in the UK didn't hurt her popularity there either.

Thought I'd post a few reference photos of old Jackie boy. Including a handy shot of the vortex manipulator.

Sorry not much good for reference, but It made me smile. :lol

Those are some nice clear shots of Jack's face, that should be a big help for WGP with the sculpting.

Oh thats just the tip of the iceberg I'm afraid. I have a ton load of very hi res promo shots which include profile and face on.

That image I posted earlier on in the thread is a character optionx computer rendering of JB's face and so is very handing for face on info.

Please sign me up for a coat as well, and whatever other accessories you are going to offer!

And btw, I thought Donna was the best companion from the new Who. She is the only who really had personality and gave the Doctor a run for his money.

Yep, I totally agree. She really didn't indulge the RTD's doctors 'god complex' that the character rapidly developed towards the end of his rein.

I've noted your interest on the front of this thread too. :wink1:

Some more shots of the vortex manipulator...

I don't really mind. I suspect that a sculpt of some kind will be more accurate then trying to make it out of real leather, but I'm willing to be proved otherwise. :)

As to reference pics, oh I have a ton of them. :lol

Bumping this up as we can't loose dear old Jack amongst all the old threads, can we? :lol

I was reading a thread at GB related to Christopher Eccleston's recent comments on why he left Who and someone made reference to an odd habit John Barrowman has.

Several backstage people and fellow actors have confirmed he likes to get his "gentleman's part" out at random intervals just for the hell of it, he even offered to cut a cake with it at someone's party :horror

Brings a whole new meaning to the term "chopper" I suppose :lol

Showbiz types are an odd bunch.

Oh I've heard all those stories, some from the cast themselves at events I've attended. :rotfl The rest of them just treat it as a complete joke.

Apparently James Marsters did say something along the lines of after getting a flash of it on the Torchwood set he has definitely got something to brag about. :rotfl

I was hoping this would be usable but if the production piece looks like this I'll have to pass. The chin and hair are ok, but eyes are all wrong and it completely ruins the likeness for me.
