Last week, the Captain Toy Picks... article was all about the Top Ten movie based action figure lines. If you thought it was tough to come up with ten great ones, try this week's - live action television based lines! I tried to mix things up a bit across decades with my choices, but I bet I missed a few of your favorites. My list is here:

Your number one and number two were right on the mark! I loved that the Muppets were not idealized versions but actually had textures and a finish that made it clear that they were not figures of the characters but figures of the puppets of the characters. Innovative design choice!

Mostly agree with you about both of the Buffy lines, it's great that they got made at all, even if there were several missed opportunities.

Glad to see you included the Who-line. They've made some absolutely fabulous figures and accessories. I still love the teeny Canopic Jars and numerous Sutekhs all these years later, they're just like the stuff in the episodes. (Some of the things they got away with producing though Exploded Cassandra...) Though of course now that the line is in decline, it's sorely missed, especially now that the articulation is actually up to snuff! I still wish they'd gotten around to Romana.

SS Buffy/Angel before Threezero Game of Thrones? Ouch!

Diamond Buffy and Angel got no love? Loved that line. And Threezero doesn't deserve to be there yet with less than five releases.

Six Million Dollar Man hit the mark for me. I love that line. Still tracking down Bionic Bigfoot--that one has just about been as elusive as the real (or not so real) thing!
Another good list and enjoyed the read.

Good choice on the FTC 66 Batman 8" figure series.I personally own these and have upgraded them to make them even better and have added 2 characters (customed by myself by adding parts etc) to the lineup that Figurestoycompany will never make (False Face and Commissioner Gordon)
