Cash PF

Ok I am listining to From San Quinton and was wondering which Cash would you prefer a 69 Cash or an 94 Cash or somewhere in between for me I would go with a Sun recordings Cash.

This thread title got me all excited. I would like a Folsom/San Quentin one, I guess. But any Cash would be fine with me, as long as he has his guitar!!

I dont know that one will be neccessary...Sine Neca(or who ever it was) has already released a Cash figure, then that tells me the rights are out there, and it would seem an abvious choice for SS to pick up. Only time will tell, but I honestly think we will see a Cash PF from SS.

Nope love it. Its one of the most,IMO, iconic pictures in American music. Even for none Cash fans, many will know this picture. My dad listened to alot of Cash as I grew up and had this pic,from a magazine I think, hanging in the bar at our house. It brings back good memories...By all means keep it as your avatar.

Thanks King I have been a fan since I was 6 years old my Father and Mother both had the albums and I heard them growing up and have a place in my heart for J.R. I hope Kiss sells well so they will do a Cash PF heck I would take him in 12" if I had to.

Same here. My favorite Cash song is A Boy Named Sue..It always made me laugh as a kid, and when he said "and I'am the son of a ***** that named you Sue", i though I was listening to some really hard core stuff...I would pick up a Cash in either PF or 12" too.

That photo was taken at the 1969 San Quentin show by Jim Marshall. Cash was flipping off all of the photographers and cameramen who were lined up at the front of the stage and refused Cash's request to move. When he won a Grammy for Unchained in 1998, the picture was printed in Billboard magazine with the caption: "American Recordings and Johnny Cash would like to acknowledge the Nashville music establishment and country radio for your support."

This would actually be the most historic pose you could choose for a Cash PF but I kind of doubt we will get it. Nothing could be worse, however, than a Cash PF with no guitar.

I got my hopes up too when I read this. Johnny is one of the few Legendary Musician I would get in PF. I would prefer the younger 1950's or 60's Cash.

Maybe I need to change the title or maybe SS will get an idea for what we want for the next musician product. I dont mind Kiss I just dont have the money or the space to put them but for Johnny I would make room and money to put him on my shelf.
