Cheap Clear Risers from Ikea

I've been looking for clear display risers for my collection forever. I've gone to so many stores that use them to display items yet they never sell them seperately.

Well I went to Ikea this weekend and found something that works great!

They are called Korsfjord and it costs $7.99 for the set. It is a set of bathroom containers that are clear plastic with removable lids. Included are the following:

1 large 4-inch tall box
1 long 3 1/2 inch box
1 short 2 1/2 inch box
1 short fat 3 1/2 inch box
1 soapdish that is 1 inch tall

They really add something dynamic to the display and the different sizes and shapes will work for anything. I have the largest box next to Jabba's throne right now and have Bib standing on it. I even used the 2 smaller lids on top of each other (and they actually link to each other) and I'm using that for a stand. I recommend these to everyone!!

Lol...I went to Ikea in Tampa yesterday and was looking for similar stuff. I was more concerned with measuring Bestas and Billys, but now that I know where to find these I'm gonna pick some up.

I got some risers like that when the store I was working for closed down. They really are great.

I use both and they are great.

lasercreations is a seller on ebay who has cheap risers in many different sizes and sells tons of them. I always buy from him for my mini busts as I can get volume in the same size from him.

While a set or two from Ikea may be cool to add some leveling to the display I would not get alot of them. Thanks for sharing though. I will pick up a set when I go just to add some variety to my display.

These would also be a good idea for displaying 1/6 figures in a Detolf.

I get mine from All Acrylics. You can actually tell them the dimensions you want and they cut it to order. www.allacrylics.com
I usually get the 3" diameter x 4 " high

I thought these were great because I really just needed like 3 or 4 risers. This is a cheap option for those that don't need to buy in bulk and just want to add something to their display.

I have bought all mine through lasercreations (24 of em in my display case ), but they ran out of the size I use a while back.
