Chelsea win the Champion League final. With the score being level at 1-1, Chelsea eventually beat Bayern Munich 4-3 on Pens. What a final. Dominated by Bayern but there finshing was wasteful & Chelsea punished them for it. Anyone watch it?

Yes..happy to see spuds out of CL. Only good thing to come from that game..thought of terry parading through London with that trophy makes me vomit. :monkey4

I kept one eye on it. Really thought Bayern would win the shoot out, german teams always seem to do good on penalties whereas english teams...well. I'm pretty indifferent about club football but I was happy enough to see Chelsea win.

I wish they would have kept Klose in the lineup Instead on of getting rid of him perhaps the result would have been different. Congrats!

Congrats to Chelsea.
It sucks if you're a Tottenham Hotspur supporter though.
With Chelsea winning they knock Spurs out of 4th spot and get that CL spot for next season.
No matter Pep Guardiola will be the manager soon,Di Matteo won't get the job regardless of what the won while he was in charge.

hope he brings Messi with him :horror

They would have done it with Mourinho long ago if that gobsheen in charge had just left him to it. Having said that fair play to Di Matteo, it makes a great story his having lead Chelsea to the win, songs will be sung of his victory. 2 cups, not bad for a temp-guy.

Unbelievable really. All the money Roman spent on top draw managers to win the European cup & the interim Manager (I think thats what they call him) wins it but a-dev's definitely right about Mourinho, Chelsea would of probably won it a number of times if Roman didn't get rid of him.
Being an Arsenal fan, I must admit it was sweet seeing Chelsea winning it last night because 5 of my uncles & 4 of my brother in laws are big Spurs fans & I've being getting untold stick of them for most of the season before they chocked 3rd place & now Chelsea are the EU Champs there lost there Champions League spot too :yess: :nana:
