Anyone else going? I'll be there on the 22nd. This will be my first comic con experience, so I'm really looking forward to it!

My wife and I thought about going but after Dallas, SDCC, and Tulsa in October it's just one comic con too many. I went there about 12 years ago for my first Wizard Comic Con and had a blast (even though Stan Lee cancelled). I'm sure it's a completely different beast now though, which is why I'd like to check it out again. Have fun!

I went the past two years but am passing this year. Guest list is just too repetitive for me, and that's my main attraction. The shopping is cool but let's face it - I can get pretty much everything cheaper online. I can also watch panels online and look at photos of cosplay. So...another year, perhaps. I want to check out C2E2 for the first time as well. People seem to prefer it over WWC.

I used to frequent WW Chicago as well. It's very repetitive and really doesn't offer anything new. The panels aren't great and the same players in the convention circuit are there.

C2E2 I've heard from friends who have gone say that it's worlds better than Wizard World. They get way more talent in the artist side of things and the panels contain actual new info.

I'll probably go only because of my kids. I took them for a short time last year to take a family photo op with Stan Lee but we weren't able to stay afterwards. This year we'll walk the floor and take pics of the kids with peeps in costume. As far as the event itself, a lot of premier talent missing this year. A lot of artists I like are no-shows this year. I was really hoping Adam Hughes and George Perez would make it back to WW Chicago. I'll be there more for the kids than I am for myself.

I had pretty good time yesterday. I loved seeing all the cosplayers and artwork. But some of the prices people want for stuff:lol On one side of the con a guy was selling a Marvel Select Carnage for $100. On the other side someone was selling it for $50. I also saw this panel called "Tea Time with Deadpool" and it's just a group of guys dressed and acting as Deadpool, Spiderman, Captain America, Power Man, and Wolverine. It was actually pretty funny watching them bash each other's movies. I took a few pics. I didn't really feel like posing much, that's why my sister is in most of them...
