This kind of smells of 21 Jump Street to me.

A show that wasn't very good, being turned into a remake that doesn't need to exist, that turns out really funny.

That last part is still questionable. The trailer wasn't particularly funny, but the cast is pretty damn solid. Worst case scenario, it'll probably be funnier than the average network sitcom.

So glad that like Baywatch the makers did not take this seriously. There were some seriously stupid shows in the 80's. Now please bring back Automan, Street Hawk, Airwolf, Hardcastle and McCormick, Man from Atlantis, and Manimal.

I'm going to bother watching it, so I'll just comment blindly on this one. Pena is hilarious, so this has potential. If not for him, this wouldn't be worth it, like Baywatch.
