There's a difference between the carefully shaded scales on the original maquette and the chocolate cake crums on the CC piece.

Some dark washed and dry brushing it will look amazing I did this to the bust

wow, that thing is enormous! yeah the dots all over it are a bit.. distracting, but it still looks great. too bad this apartment is small - there's no way in hell id be able to find enough space in here for that! damn!

Very thin slightly darker paint than the bust. Thinned heavily with water if you use water based paints and just build up the layers.
