Chuck Norris has become somewhat of an internet phenonemon in that last couple years, why not before? And what is it exactly that is so funny about him, there's other action stars of yesteryesr just as cheesey. What is it about him that makes us laugh?

Its sad that whenever people hear of "Chuck Norris" now they tend to think of a funny internet thing whereas before they'd think of a action star of yesteryear who made some pretty bad films.

Chuck Norris is a lot more than a cheesy action star. He has been a pioneer in martial arts, a full contact champion, an author of a very inspirational book, an anti drug advocate, created programs for underprivileged kids to study martial arts, and is the epitome of what a martial artist should strive to be. From very humble beginnings, he worked himself up to his full potential to be the best in his field, and earned the respect of everyone of his peers he ever worked with personally and still remains extremely modest. yeah he seems to be associated with joke internet stuff now but as said i think he is a cool guy and altho cheesy movies are still enjyable, and coming from a regular background and building himself up, to do whath e does today, he deserves the respect.

plus id rather watch a chuck movie over a van damme and segal movie ANY day of the week.
