The UPS driver didn't leave it but I arranged to pick it up after hours at UPS. I'm glad I did. Don't know if I'd have made it through the weekend.

Dave is rich. Filthy stinking rich. So rich, it makes me cry. He probably cries oil and poops out chunks of gold, platinum and diamond.

Seriously, how many banks do you rob a year? hehe

Love the pics and the piece Darklord Dave. As a collector, I'll live vicariously through you.

First impressions - He's very cool. I complained loud and long when he was first announced when he didn't have the hat and coat. But this isn't an action figure that you'll be posing every which way. The hat and coat would have just gotten in the way I think.

The likeness is dead on - I've said it before and I'm even more convinced now. There are subtle layers to the skin tone too that accentuate how alive he looks in person. One drawback - I think the make-up - the blush, shading around his eyes, shadow on the beard - are all a bit too overdone.

I like how there's some dreads in his hair too - I'd missed that on the proto. The tiny beads are all perfect, although the coin in his hair is blank.

The only parts packed seperate are the sword hand and the scabbard. The halburk is very fine leather - I want a coat from this stuff, it's so subtle and rich. The boots seem to be sculpted and perhaps flocked? It looks like leather though. The dish towel around his waist has a snap so you could remove it if you wanted. The sleeve on his sword arm also has a snap. There are tiny buttons on the shirt - excellent scale work.

I had to futz with the shirt, the dishtowel, the halburk and the hair, but that's to be expected with a multimedia figure this complex. The silicon runs down most of his chest too, so you could display his shirt open pretty far.

Overall I'm pretty happy about him (if I don't think about the price). Can't wait for Indy!

When you pass on can I have your collection? hehe

btw Great review! I may just save up for a cinemaquette.

:drool:drool:drool:drool

I can remember seeing him for the first time in a Wizard magazine as a prize for their scavenger hunt and he is just glorious. Just glorious, congrats Dave.

That is just awesome. I will never own a Cinemaquette, but it's nice to see pictures of one. Looks to me like it's the best Captain Jack money can buy.

Congrats Dave, Those are some of the greatest collectibles ever made. From your pics,He looks better than I thought.

Congrats again Dave...I am truly jealous...wish I had the resources to add a couple of these to my collection...

Great pictures by the way...they really capture the realisticness of the piece.

The face likeness is a bit off and he looks chubby. Maybe it's the photos and the light.

Congrats on a wonderful piece! :D

Looks great Dave. I love the way they did the box. I do agree the cheeks look puffy, but I bet it isn't an issue in person.
