Cinemaquette T2 T-800 need help.

Bought this statue a long time ago and neglected it. It's collected some big time dust and spiderwebs. It's due for some major cleaning. What is the best method for cleaning this thing?

I noticed the pins that go into the shoulder socket have turned copper was this the way it was or did something happen to it, I can't remember.

I see white crust in a few places, was this normal or did something happen?

I have a pile of adaptors and I don't remember which one this statue came with can anyone who has this post a photo of the adaptor it came with? Thanks!

Just use a soft bristle paint brush with a puffy tip. It's what I use. Won't scratch it, but should have enough resistance to knock off the dust. Sounds like your pins are tarnishing. Dont' know what the white stuff is. Just try different adapter until one both fits and works. Start with the one with the lowest power output.

Never keep the collectibles in direct sunlight...

Pales the paint/color, heats the piece (changes the temperature)..Can cause some unwanted reactions.

It's a common knowledge that collectibles should be kept away from the direct sunlight!

I am a bit surprised to read that you "neglected" this piece, especially since it's a grail piece to me, that I probably won't ever get to own since it's just way out of my price range.

I am a poker player that travels the tournament circuit all around the country. since may of 2010 I have been home like a month and a half. and when I have been home I was busy playing online and resting or at the local casino. I dont think people should go as far as to say I dont deserve this piece.

The statue has some rust/oil stains applied to it so don't worry about those too much. Give it a good clean with some compressed air and a wipe with a soft damp cloth and it should come up fine. Keep it out of the sun and appreciate what a piece of work it is.

It's the one by GOLDEN PROFIT ELECTRONICS LTD. Model#GPE051-045030-1. The info is from the silver label on the adapter. Hope you locate it. And good luck cleaning up the statue. Post some before and after pics.

Don't take the guys too seriously, they dun really mean any harm.


The white stuff might be the reaction from corrosion. May need some time to clean up the piece. Slow and easy

If it's been sitting by a window and has corrosion, my guess is that it will need to be rechromed.
The chrome is probably faded and while cleaning the chrome will probably flake off on the corroded areas as well.
The dust might have actually saved some fading by covering certain spots.
If you decide that you don't want it anymore, let me know.
