Recent Q&A::DJsmile:

With the awesomeness of the recently released Iron Spider-Man Comiquette, coupled with the impending awesomeness of the Back in Black Comiquette, does Sideshow have any plans to release a Classic Blue and Red Spidey Comiquette?

Sir, your mental powers rival even our own Criswell!

No interest whatsoever, but the classic spidey costume needs to gets made anyway in comiquette form...the PF was kinda weak.

Produce this and there is no reason to produce any more Spidey. Its perfect.

You heard of McFarlane?

Yes, I have, and HIS stuff ISN'T CLASSIC Spiderman.. It's modern stylized Spiderman. As an aside, I think his style makes Spidey look like a grotesque distorted mutant freak of "nature". I really don't like his style. I've never understood why anyone else even tolerated that. To me it looks like a little kid coloring outside of the lines of a coloring book as if that was cool or anything other than a mistake.

However, I would like a real classic Spider-Man a lot.

Romita never drew the eyes the same, even his sizes varied.

You are thinking of Kirby and/or Ditko

The eyes are fine, Mark Bagley one of the most popular Spidey Artists always drew large eyes.

I wonder why all of the building pieces though....Iron Spidey, BiB Spidey, Elektra, possible Daredevil and now possibly a Spider-Man?

Bagley Spidey is probably my favorite. Bagley Venom ain't too shabby either.....would've preferred the comiquette to have been Bagley's Venom but I'm probably still buying.

Romita Jr, Mike. I was never too fond of the very small eye design. Bagley would also be fine.

Ah, Romita Jr. I'm not a fan of his artwork a little too boxy but I did respect his work on WWH.
