think i'm sold on this one. might be the next thing on my 'to get' list (or the utapau clone). it does make me really want a 1/6th animated version though.

I was trying to find the answer on the archives but I couldn't, has Sideshow said if they are going to release the yellow and red variants of this clone?

No, but its only a matter of time before they do though. I'd expect one of them soon actually as we seem to get a new clone announced shortly after one has shipped.

Opened me and my brother's figures today and both are perfect...but I gotta say I wish SSC would get about the business of developing a universal (ball) ankle joint

I can live with the wrist joints but the figures would pose easier and better, imo, if they had an ankle joint thaat was universal...especially at this scale.

Rant done :maul

Nice job on these SSC and I really like the flat white on these, although they scratch easy. Wouldn't mind seeing em in a gloss white as well.

Anyone planning on "future waxing" their phase II clone? If so, please post pics.

Edit:....weak, weak ankles...its a poor design to say the least...end edit

just got mine from viking playground. i really, really dig it. the legs, hips and armor are all tight enough for him to stand on his own without his stand. just feels very solid and well put together. he does already have a couple of scratches/marks from the rifle but i guess thats the cost of doing battle. very cool figure. bring on the commandos and arc troopers!

All joints are tight and I got the ankles to hold pretty good :D

These are camera phone shots so sorry about the crappy pics.

I agree...there are some tweaks they could do but overall these are the best that have hit the market.

Thanks for the compliments on the pics...a Blackberry Storm Production :lol

MAN! I need to catch up on the figures that I had to cancel soon! This clone looks incredible based on the pics. But I WILL get a spare blaster rifle and protect the stock from leaving the marks on the figure. I will likely paint it or something.

Yeah, I know...I am a little ____.
