The end result is almost perfect symmetry. The reason we like the other ladies is because they lack that perfect look, and have things that are off, and sometimes that is what's sexy.
I find the most attractive women have small blemishes that make them unique and hot in their own right. Be it Sarah Michelle Gellar's funky shaped nose, Kate Boseworth's two different coloured eyes, or Jessica Simpson's butt chin. It's their thing that separates them from the other beautys. I mentioned those three because those ladies features really stood out for me.

The Portman/Johanssen. The Bellucci/Fox, Jolie/Hathaway...fantastic.
Taking the final chick at row 1 (who isn't all that bad really) I would bang my way up the rungs until the Theron/Cuthburt and the Hewitt/Duff which I don't really like the way they are meshed.
The thing about this exercise is that facial features are only one part of the equation. There are a ton of actors and actresses whose bodies are the reason they are thought highly of while their faces are just average. It would have been more interesting to put these actresses completely together and see what it produced. The Hathaway/Jolie? Huge lips and large knockers no matter how you slice it but the Bosworth/Knightley would be the skinniest ????ing thing on the planet.

One problem I have with the photoshop image above is that it's a really limited cross-section of mostly caucasian women.
Meh, I find that the faces are actually prettier going upward from the chart rather than downward. Except the Portman/Johannson combo. That one is ace.

I recall a social psych. experiment we read about when I was an undergrad. When people were grading the "beauty" of men or women, the most "average" faces of all (i.e. those merged together with the most people) tended to be viewed as most beautiful. True story. So when we say that people look "average," meaning homely, we are actually not correctly identifying average-looking people.
Eli's discussion of symmetry is also related to that experiment. You say imperfections are "sexy," but the "average" person is obviously more symmetrical than any given person, and was hypothesized to be a big part of why these people were viewed as sexier.

yep............facial features isnt everything anyways. In fact, I think a lot of you guys would rather focus on a specific part of the woman anatomy,rather then just their face anyways
