I had promised a fellow board member a custom TOD belt and holster set for the upcoming TOD PF... these will feature the same type of real nickel buckles on a custom dyed dark brown leather belt with a sliding whip keeper... the holster is fashioned after the old vintage british webley holster..(as in the movie of course)...

Still needs a bit more weathering to get this to look like a good scuffed TOD set... but you get the idea...

Re: Coming soon.. TOD PF sets..

Just checked out your site, MF. All I can say is WOW and bookmarked for when I have some spare $$ for your beautiful work.

Re: Coming soon.. TOD PF sets..

All of Mike's work is the best! I have all of Mike's item's on my 1/4 and 1/6th scale Indy's.

Look at how perfect Mike's 1/4 scale KOTCS holster and belt set are:

Re: Coming soon.. TOD PF sets..

Same here. I've upgraded both of my Indy PFs with Mike's belts and holsters, and I'll absolutely do it again for the TOD PF. It's amazing how much of a difference such a small change can make.

:exactly:

I've done the same thing and will DEFINITELY be getting Mike's TOD rig for my PF when it comes out.

P.S., that's an AWESOME backpack and whip you have there Robert. Is the whip the Joe Strain? Curious about the backpack too. Would look GREAT with the KOTCS Indy PF. :hi5:

Took a new photo ( see above )... I plan on taking this along with some other pieces to work and getting better photos in our photo studio... we'll see if I can get that to happen..

Another winner Mike! I'll definitely have to get one of these rigs for my TOD Indy PF to match the updated ROTLA and KOTCS one's I have! :clap

Just got Mike's amazing TOD belt set and I am grinning like a lunatic. Fabulous work with great attention payed to detail, I recommend it highly. Hopefully the figure will measure up.....

Any chance to see an open 1/4 whip with wire inside for flesibility for the upcoming tod indy?
I am planning to sculpt a hand most probaply to keep an open whip instead of the grenade stone :)

I tell you.. if someone were to sculpt a really good looking hand and sell castings of it they would probably do well with them... love the TOD PF except for the stone grenade... just kinda dulls the overall look... Mola is perfect... perfect... but stone lobbing Indy needs work..

That would be awesome :lecture

I still think that the existing hand would look great holding a 1/4 mfisher TOD whip though :monkey3

Only problem is the grip on the existing hand is going to be too wide for holding a whip... I have considered just removing the fingers from mine when I get it to try and resculpt them.. but not sure I am that brave.. nor do I have the confidence in trying to sculpt even fingers.. ( I would be hard pressed to sculpt a screen accurate Mr. Bill).... we'll see though...

I have been looking back at the online photos of it again... I am wondering if I can cut the arm off just below the elbow and slightly rotate the lower arm over so that the palm is facing down and just remove the stone.. because the grip is so wide if that hand was facing down with nothing in it it would look natural...

Looking at the pics again, you're right, that would look excellent! Unfortunately there's know way I would trust myself to attempt a mod that intense :(

nothing to it really.. dremel saw the forearm... rotate it over drill a small diameter hole in the both pieces to run a small rod into both to reenforce the new seam.. gorilla glue.. and done... simple.. if I do it maybe I will video it and put it online.. would be a VERY simple task..

For those who don't regularly check the Commerce section, Mfisher is offering up 4 of his TOD PF belt/holster/whip keeper sets at a reduced rate for immediate purchase. Since I just snagged one, that leaves 3 to go. The thread is in the For Sale section.

One left at special offer price... offer ends tonight.. also note that these are almost completely finished as well.. wait time will be minimal... sets will ship by Wed or Thurs this coming week.
