This seems like a pretty common occurence, as all of my HT Preds seem to have it (so now I basically take it with a grain of salt and think of it as normal).
Anyway, often times with an HT Pred fig, one of the legs has a shin that is not exactly loose, but is wobbly and can come off with bending the knee. It's easy to snap back into place, but the other leg is tight. Usually this happens to the left leg, but sometimes it's the right.
Does anyone else know what I'm talking about, or know a reason/fix?

It's not too big a deal, as it doesn't interfere with posing or displaying at all, but it's just a little something I've noticed.

none of mine have had that issue that i've noticed.
i suspect over-posing/rough handling.. or they weren't attached properly in the first place.
other than that, maybe you just have rotten luck.

My P1 did this upon release from his twisty bonds. I nearly cr1pped until I popped it back in.:sick Common problem, no HT never has "common problems":naughty

I have 6 HT Preds and they do not have this problem.

The HT Aliens are a different story. They have weak ankles that break off easily, especially the Aliens Alien Warrior and AVP-R Alien Warrior.

My new p1 I got last week came with a lose leg in the box. I Tried a few time to put it in after hearing a click I thought it was in but kept popping out when trying to pose. I had to really push harder and heard a second click. Its not came out since

I usually found that one leg was way harder to put in. Are you sure that both legs are pushed in all the way? I never have had that problem.

Huh... thanks guys. Seems like the best solution is to make sure that other leg is in tight. But it really doesn't seem like it can go in any farther.
Still, I'll see what I can do. It must be the whole "one of the legs is always harder to put in" thing, so I'll attempt a fix.

Yeah, thats what mine were like and one day I was like "Imma push really hard....*snap* ooohhh it went in all the way. Cool."

lol, just got back from slaving over my HT Preds. Turns out, my BD P2 had both of his legs like that. My P1 had the problem right out of the box, too!

Anyhow, the pegs refused to go in (like with my P2's forearms when I first built him), so I did what I did before; brought out a sanding tool and lightly sanded the pegs. 20 minutes later, boom. All 3 of my beautiful HT Preds have perfect legs that slid in nice, but stay in tight. Yay!! Some of these I didn't even want to touch because I was afraid of going through the leg headache again (like the P1, which was my first HT Pred and first HT fig ever). Luckily, now I can enjoy them in all their glory, because they're fully intact and ready :).

Technically, I figured if it wouldn't seem to go in any farther, it was broken or something.

Plus my first HT Pred was the P1, which came fully-built. So if something was wrong there, I wasn't yet familiar enough with the construct of HT Preds to fix it. Now I know how everything works, so I'm good :D.

Oh P1.. you're right. That's HT's fault then. Those FUBARS.

:lol

I remember when I put my P2 together. Sweet lord. I couldn't get one of the arms on and got so frustrated I almost threw the whole thing into the garbage. :D

I know, right? That was the only Pred I bought mint in box. The first arm magically snapped in after 30 minutes of struggling. All of a sudden, click. The second one wouldn't get in, so I had to use the sanding tool.
Glad I didn't throw him in the garbage :); now I've got my top 3 favorite Preds and I wouldn't sell or trade a single one of 'em. :chew

Eh... for some hard-plastic pegs, methinks that's like using a bazooka to kill a spider.

Too big. Either way, they fit in perfectly and are tightly-secured. I tried fitting the shins very often to make sure I sanded juuuuust enough, but not too much. Seems to work.

I really doubt that the hair dryer would do much to the type of plastic the shins are. Then again, sanding isn't what i would have done.
