since i know that palpatine is right around the corner.... lets start talking about some more Sith oppurtunities. lets talk about the Count.

One of the most underrated characters in the prequels, to me he's cooler than Darth Maul.

I voted all but would prefer a PF piece of him and 12". I'm greedy like that so I want both.

I voted all as well. also, even though the chances of this happening are probably slim and none, I would like gentle giant to release another dooku bust to fit in with the other sith busts.

I went 12" only because I can't afford the PF series. My second would be GG Maquette, I love those things! It is unfortunate that he's so looked down on. He brings so much to AOTC and ROTS (though only shortly) and he's awesome in the CW animated series. Plus, he fights like a gentleman with his fencing style.

As I was going down the list of each version I said to myself "that'd be cool, I'd buy one", so I of course voted for all 4. I'm really dying for a Dooku in some form or another.

A 12" should have the neck and wrist nubs as standard with the Death Star hologram as an exclusive.

He is good for a Hasblo, but very flawed when standing next to SS Anakin or Luke.

I vote 1/6 scale. I don't do PF or GG bacause I'm not very interested in those. 1/6 is the best of all possible formats! Besides, Dooku really is one of the best Star Wars characters--I wish he had been better illustrated; Lucas' enigmatic approach makes it difficult to appreciate just how much depth Dooku has as a villain. He ought to have been made much more dynamic a presence--Christopher Lee is too stunning to be resigned to the minor character that Dooku turned out to be, despite his crucial role in the saga. More Dooku!

No argument there. There isn't a single Hasbro that comes close to those two.

I very much agree, Dooku and his portrayal (I almost typed betrayal...freudian slip) by C. Lee really made the sith so smooth and sophisticated. Honestly he seemed much more like a thinker than the jedi who just seemed to do what had always been done. Pretty much he's the reason I'm a sith lord when I play with my little cousin.

Dooku's one of my most wanted in the 12" line, I'm afraid it'll be a while before we get him though. I'd like his exclusive to be a holo Death Star.

He may not be as good as SS's Luke or Anakin [ a matter for a different thread perhaps] but I am quite happy with my conversion of mine onto a Sideshow body and would not want to waste the opportunity of getting another 1:6 character just to get Dooku.
